Raincoat you got to have!!
Never really had a good raincoat. This is true to size, it has very good high quality material. The zipper is not flimsy and is better quality. The color choices are excellent. Very lightweight easy to store away , in the bag that comes with it, when you’re not using it. Definitely worth the price. Very comfortable and definitely waterproof. The elastic around the wrists are not too tight.

The American Trends Women Plus Size Light RainCoat is a great windbreaker for casual outings or vacations. I love how lightweight it is, making it easy to wear and pack, and it does a great job keeping the wind from making me cold. It’s the perfect go-to jacket for those in-between season changes. True to size & cute.
It’s a nice little windbreaker. It’s very thin but cute and lightweight. My only complaint is the zipper area. It’s a bit uncomfortable and the zipper is weirdly stiff. It whatever they used to cover the zipper. It feels like stiff molded rubber. As far as being waterproof it is not as repellent as my old Columbia one but for the price it’s not bad.

Perfect if you get hot easily but need water protection
I bought this as a light rain jacket to throw in my pack for travel to Ireland. A quick shower can come and go very quickly. I like that it is not lined because I get hot very easily. This was perfect for the few showers I encountered and even served as a windbreaker for me at the Giant’s Causeway.

THERE IS A PLASTIC COATING ON SOME SIZES
These differ by size or color. 3X Black has a PLASTIC coating inside (though the description says 100% polyester) & makes me sweaty in 2 minutes. 4X Blue is simply one layer of polyester fabric, like my fabric shower curtain that repels water. I was disappointed in it, thinking it would absorb water during a down pour, so I put it under the faucet but the water poured off & the fabric stayed totally dry! When I wear it, I don’t sweat.The elastic at the bottom of the sleeves is twice as wide as my wrists, so it won’t keep wind or rain out but might keep me cool and comfortable.The matching small drawstring bag is wonderful for carrying the bag with me.I’m pleased with 4X Blue. I’ll return the plastic 3X Black.Update: I took this raincoat to rainy Norway. I wore it over my warm jacket when it rained. It DID NOT repel water! The shoulders and back of my jacket got terribly wet. I was cold, wet, and miserable! This is NOT water repellant!

So far I like the quality. I was looking for a lined one. It will do. First perfect with a little more room. I dont wear a 4 x, I wear a 1x, Amazon suggested the size because it runs small. The colors are perfect to go with the rest of my rain gear.

NOT WATERPROOF! Coat was good size, good fit and a great compact windbreaker.. BUT not waterproof as advertised. It’s barely water resistant. Had to return it. If you need a rain coat, find something else.
