Not much to love about this tool
This 0.25mm Home Use Microneedle Derma Roller Pen comes with zero instructions. It comes with a so-called manual, but the only item it talks about is the battery and how to charge it.The build quality seems adequate so far. It charged up, and I was able to use it several times without running out of charge yet. The needles, or whatever they may be, are so small that you can’t feel them, and they don’t even turn your skin pink. I guess you can say that is good, but I don’t think it is doing what we are all hoping for.If you have never used a microneedle of any kind, you will need to watch a few YouTube videos. I would think if you are paying $85 or more for something that you are going to use on your face, they would give you clear instructions on the tool you are buying and what it does, and how to use it, including a video or 2 on their product page.The needles are disposable, but nowhere does it tell you where to buy replacements. A reviewer posted a video and said it comes with different types of needles, but it doesn’t they are all the same.I would look elsewhere before spending that kind of money on this product.

It’s great for improving product absorption, but don’t expect dramatic changes in skin texture or hair growth with just this. I use it mostly to prep my skin before applying serums, and it seems to help a bit with that. It also did not come with instructions for use. I had to look up videos on YouTube to know how to properly use this tool/ones similar to it.

Decent set for a beginner but comes with a learning curve
I have always wanted to get my face microneedled, but I have sensitive skin and didn’t want to spend a lot of money at a spa for something I wasn’t sure I’d like. I decided to try this 0.25mm Home Use Microneedle Derma Roller Pen at home to see what I thought.When it arrived, I realized it seems well made with a decent heft, and doesn’t feel cheaply made. It didn’t come with a manual, so that was baffling. I had to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how to use a Derma Pen. I have been using it for a good while now and I can’t say I have noticed a lot of change, but for someone with more skin issues than me, it might be a win. I would suggest including instructions so that could be part of the issue.
